LUCKNOW: Police led by DCP Central Zone Vikrant Vir visited the residence of BJP leader Aparna Yadav as part of the investigation into the death of Prateek Yadav in Lucknow, officials said on Wednesday.According to police sources, investigators will examine the circumstances in which Prateek Yadav was present inside the house before he was found unconscious. Police have also taken possession of Prateek’s mobile phone as part of the ongoing probe.
Sources said Prateek was reportedly found in an unconscious condition inside the house. Family members and others present at the residence rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.Also read: 1 year before death, Prateek Yadav had accused business partner of Rs 4 crore extortionPolice officials said the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, and further details will emerge after the post-mortem examination and forensic analysis. Investigators are also expected to record statements of family members and household staff as part of the inquiry.
