Both displays share the same aspect ratio for proportional scaling, support ProMotion, Always-On functionality and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, and the inner display uses a nano-texture, glare-reducing finish with an under-display FaceTime camera.Design: The device is built from grade 5 titanium with a mirror-polished finish, Ceramic Shield on the back and the tougher Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, and carries an IP68 water/dust resistance rating. Its hinge has over 100 components, reinforced with support ribs and ceramic fibre inserts for added rigidity.Cameras: iPhone Duo has a 48MP Fusion Main camera, a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide (shared with the iPhone 18 Pro), and a Center Stage front camera. Fold-specific features include Smart Take, Duo Preview, Kid Cue and Duo FaceTime, plus 4K/120fps Dolby Vision video recording.Software: It ships with iOS 27, redesigned for the foldable form factor with side-mounted controls, dual Home Screen pages, Split View multitasking, an upgraded StandBy mode, and a beta rollout of Siri AI, which can use personal context and on-screen content to answer questions or take actions.Performance and battery: The phone runs on Apple’s 2nm A20 Pro chip (6-core CPU, 7-core GPU, dual 16-core Neural Engine) with a vapour chamber cooling system. Dual batteries can last up to 31 hours of video on the inner display, 44 hours on the outer display or 24 hours of mixed use, and it has fast wired and wireless charging.Connectivity: It uses Apple’s N1 chip (Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread) and the C2 modem for improved cellular performance, with Apple Pencil (USB-C) support planned later this year.
