The rumour mill is buzzing around popular couple Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, with speculation rife that wedding bells may ring soon. However, Tejasswi has dismissed the chatter, telling Bombay Times, “That’s not happening anytime soon (laughs).” The couple’s romance blossomed on Bigg Boss 15, where their natural chemistry and emotional bond struck a chord with audiences. What began as a reality show connection soon evolved into a steady real-life relationship. They’ve since shared screen space on shows like Lock Upp and Laughter Chefs, along with projects such as Desi Bling. Speaking about working together, Tejasswi shared, “There are of course a lot of things that you do explore with each other on a professional basis. You do tend to understand how the other person likes to work. Especially for me, there’s so much that I get to learn from Karan, him being my senior. For me, it’s been a learning process.”
We caught up with Tejasswi at the recently concluded Bombay Times Fashion Week, where she turned showstopper for designer Rajdeep Ranawat. Talking about walking the ramp, she said, “Whenever I am about to step on the ramp, I get reminded of the ‘Meghna, Now!’ scene.” The iconic “Meghna now” scene from the 2008 film Fashion features Priyanka Chopra (Meghna Mathur) making a powerful, confident return to the ramp in Paris.
