He directed, wrote and executive produced our show, but also helped mold some of TV’s most memorable sitcoms, from Growing Pains to Hannah Montana.The post further read that “We all kept in touch with David over the past 30 years, and are honored that we were able to share his incredible personality with our Pod Meets World listeners. We have lost a vital piece of our family.” The post was then signed off by writing, “We love you, David. Rest in peace. No notes.”At the time of writing, the cause of his passing has not yet been shared with the public. David Kendall was the driving force behind a lot of hit and popular TV shows.

David Kendall worked extensively as a director, showrunner, and producer, among other things, and was known as the creative force behind some of the most beloved shows. He was born in Philadelphia on October 4, 1957, and completed his higher education at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.His career began in the 80s, when he first worked as a director on the comedy film, ‘Luggage of the Gods!’ He also wrote the film and worked extensively on the project. Two years later, he landed the role of a co-producer on the hit show, ‘Growing Pains’, which helped him skyrocket to fame.
