Ola S1 X+ with 320 km range at Rs 1.30 lakh: But there's a catch!

Ola Electric has expanded its electric scooter lineup with the launch of the new S1 X+ 5.2 kWh variant. The e-scooter has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1,29,999, ex-showroom, but this price is only valid till April 15, 2026, after which it is expected to go up. Ola is aiming to make long-range electric mobility more accessible. However, the limited-period pricing means buyers looking to take advantage of the Rs 1.30 lakh tag will need to act quickly. The highlight of the new S1 X+ is its claimed IDC range of 320 km, making it one of the longest-range scooters in its segment. It is powered by an 11 kW mid-drive motor paired with an integrated motor control unit, allowing it to reach a top speed of 125 kmph. The scooter also gets Brake-by-Wire technology along with a front disc brake.

Ola S1X+ 5.2kWh variant: Equipped with indigenous Bharat Cell

A key talking point here is the use of Ola’s indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell. With this, the company is pushing its in-house battery technology into a more mass-market product. The S1 X+ 5.2 kWh joins an already wide portfolio of electric two-wheelers from the brand. The existing S1 X+ with a 4 kWh battery continues to be on sale at Rs 1,02,499 and offers a claimed range of 242 km. The company’s Gen 3 lineup also includes the S1 Pro and S1 Pro+, available with multiple battery options, along with the S1 X range that caters to more budget-focused buyers.
